Miniature Schnauzer Speciality Show 24th of January 2010, Turku.

Show will be held at Turku Fair and Congress Center, more information you can find from their homepage Turku Fair Center

The show is an afternoon show and judging starts at approximately 10.00 (in the auditorium of the TFCC.) You will find the place by following TURKUHALLI/ÅBO HALLEN -signs and also MESSUT/MÄSSAN-signs. Don't forget the Turku International Dog Show on 23.-24.1.2010 The participating dogs must be vaccinated and ID-marked according to the regulations issued by the Finnish Kennel Club. Cropped and docked dogs born after 1st of January 2001 are not permitted to compete in shows.

Please note!

The copy or receipt of the payment must be enclosed with the entry forms. Entry forms without a copy of the receipt attached will be returned.Dogs registered abroad must include with their entry forms a copy of their registration certificate (excluded dogs registered in the Nordic Countries).

 

To enter in championclass a championship certificate is needed, to enter in working class a wcc (working class certificate) is needed. Dogs entered in champion class cannot compete for the challenge certificate, if the dog is already a Finnish Show Champion. If mentioned certificates are missing, the dog will be automatically entered in "Open Class"

 

Cropped and docked dogs

Cropped and docked dogs born after 1.1.2001 are not allowed to participate shows held in Finland.

 

Vaccination instructions for the Show
The show is subject to the vaccination directions approved by the Finnish Kennel Club. The organizers are obliged to inspect vaccination certificates for all dogs taking part. All dogs participating in the Show or trials must have a valid certificate of vaccination against distemper and rabies.Please, check the custom regulations for importing dogs to Finland. Check also your own country's regulations when turning back.

 

Distemper vaccinations

The dog must be vaccinated at least twice against distemper and at least two weeks must have expired between the second (booster) vaccine and the Show before dogs may be shown or participate in trials. Vaccinations for dogs under one year old are valid for a year. Booster vaccinations for dogs over
one year old are valid for two years and no warning period is required.
If a distemper vaccination has expired it must be renewed two weeks before the Show or trials at the latest (two weeks warning period).

 

Rabies vaccination
At least two weeks must have expired between the dog's first rabies
vaccination before the dog may take part in the Show or competitions.
Rabies vaccinations are valid for one year if given to a dog under one year old. However, rabies vaccinations are only valid for one year in the case of dogs taking part in ferreting trials or hunting.If rabies vaccination has expired it must be renewed at least two weeks before showing or competition (two weeks warning period).

 

Attention!
Importation requirements are harder than vaccination regulations.

 

Anti-Doping
The Anti-Doping rules, approved by the Council of the Finnish Kennel Club (27.11.2005) have come into force on 1.1.2007. These rules concern all the shows, trials and tests approved by the Finnish Kennel Club. Visit also www.kennelliitto.fi for current information.
